Berube Consulting is a boutique software development firm founded in 2002 by David Berube. Over 80% of the work comes from existing clients in fields including sales, training, retail, service firms, and nonprofits. The firm specializes in working directly with businesses to determine project goals.

Berube Consulting split off its programming side into its sister company, Durable Programming, LLC.

About David Berube

David Berube is a software developer, consultant, speaker, and writer who continuously researches and practices his trade. He has written for publications like Dr Dobbs Journal, Linux Magazine, IBM DeveloperWorks, and PHP International Magazine. He has authored books including “Practical Rails Gems” and “Practical Reporting with Ruby and Rails”.

In the Open Source community, he was involved with the AmphetaDesk project, developing Win32 GUI code, and has chaired open source user groups and arranged seminars.
